Gratitude: Your Arm is Not Too Short to Save

Your arm is not too short to save,

nor your ear too deaf to hear.

You hear the sinner's plea for help

and swiftly You draw near.

You lift his head and bind his wounds,

give firmness to his steps

upon a path of righteousness

that leads to warmth and rest.

You fill his cup to overflow

with mercy, goodness, grace;

and though he may see dimly now,

he'll soon see face to face.

For You have made a way for him

a lighted path at night;

a road unto salvation,

a crooked lane made straight.

On everlasting arms he flies,

on high with eagle's wings;

and when the night sky falls to dark,

he hears creation sing.

He joins the songs of praise to God,

their voices reach the sky;

All praise to You, the Holy One!

The Lord of lords, Most High!

Thank you so much Cheryl. You are so talented. I love your poem. I pray almost every day for God to surround me with His protective arms.
